Terms & Conditions
Last updated: May 14, 2026
Welcome to Lumi. These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your use of the Lumi iOS application (“Lumi,” “the app,” “we,” “us,” or “our”).
By downloading or using Lumi, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.
Using Lumi
Lumi is a personal productivity app designed to help users manage tasks and track habits.
You may use the app only in compliance with applicable laws and Apple’s App Store terms.
You are responsible for how you use the app and for maintaining access to your own device and data.
Your Data
You retain full ownership of all data you create in Lumi.
Lumi stores your tasks, habits, and settings locally on your device. We do not access, collect, transmit, or store your personal data on external servers.
Because data is stored locally, deleting the app or losing access to your device may result in loss of your data unless it is included in your own device backups.
Subscriptions & Billing
Lumi offers optional monthly and annual auto-renewing subscriptions through Apple’s App Store.
Auto-Renewal
Subscriptions automatically renew unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period.
Payment will be charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase and upon renewal.
Managing or Canceling Subscriptions
You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time through your Apple account settings:
Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions
Deleting the app does not automatically cancel your subscription.
All billing and payment processing is handled by Apple. We do not process payments directly and do not have access to your payment information.
No Warranty
Lumi is provided “as is” and “as available.”
While we aim to provide a reliable and useful experience, we do not guarantee that the app will always be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, or available at all times.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Lumi and its developers will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the app.
This includes, without limitation:
-
Loss of data
-
Loss of productivity
-
Device issues
-
Service interruptions
-
Subscription or purchase disputes handled by Apple
Your use of Lumi is at your own risk.
Changes to the App or Terms
We may update Lumi or these Terms from time to time.
If we make material changes to these Terms, the updated version will be posted with a revised “Last updated” date. Continued use of the app after changes take effect means you accept the revised Terms.
Governing Law
These Terms are governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws applicable in your jurisdiction of residence, without regard to conflict of law principles.
